State agrees to provide 7th Pay scale, effective next year

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 8, 2018: Manipur government has agreed to extend the 7th Pay Commission benefits to the employees and pensioners of the government with the Fitment Factors of 2.57 notionally with effect from January 1, 2016 and actually with effect from April 1, 2019. The government agreed this during a negotiation held with representatives of Manipur Secretariat Services Association (MSSA), Manipur Government Services Federation (MGSF) and Manipur State Pensioners’ Union (MSPU) today with state government under the chairmanship of the chief minister.
