Militants attack Army on Independence Day

Pothashang News Service : Imphal, August 15, 2018: Suspected armed militants, on Independence Day morning, attacked B-company of 6 Sikh Light Infantry base located at Theigothang village in Churachandpur district near Indo-myanmar border. The attack took place within the jurisdiction of Singhat police.
