Manipur celebrates Heikru Hidongba

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, September 20, 2018: “Heikru Hidongba” festival of Manipur was celebrated on Thursday with “Hiyang Tannaba” a traditional boat race at Sagolband Bijoy Govinda Thangabat (a moat) in Imphal with pomp and gaiety. Uncle killer sentenced to life imprisonment

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, September 20, 2018:  The session judge, Imphal West today awarded life sentence to one 41 years old Khulem Jiten who was convicted for murdering his own uncle Khulem Krishnamohan and attempting to murder another uncle Khulem Priyobarta in the evening of June 30, 2015.
