Erendro said “we have joined the people of Phayeng to protest the arrest of Popilal. Since when is throwing eggs a criminal act? Which section of the IPC says throwing eggs as a mark of protest is a criminal act? Freedom of speech and right to protests are fundamental rights. The government should not forget that we are working in a democratic setup. PRJA leader Popilal Ningthoujam be released as soon as possible without any conditions”.
