Active service aspirants storm CM Bungalow
Pothashang News Service: Imphal, October 22, 2018: Result waiting candidates of All Manipur DPC completed candidates of Manipur Rifles 2016 batch today stormed Manipur Chief Minister’s bungalow in Imphal demanding to declare recruitment result as per the given date of October 20.
A team of police personnel team who were station in the CM bungalow area stop the candidates from further carrying out agitation.
Few representatives of the candidates were allowed to enter the bungalow where they submitted a memorandum to the chief minister’s office.
The candidates claim that the joint action committee of All Manipur DPC completed candidates of Manipur Rifles 2016 batch had urged the government to declare DPC recruitment result within October 20. Neither the demands are fulfilled nor receive any positive response, they complained.
Despite the result of written test examination for recruitment held in 2016 has remained undeclared and even the dateline has across, they have not carried out any form of protest, one of the candidates said.
The joint action committee has cautioned to declare the recruitment result by October 31, failure of which the JAC will resort not to hold any talk with the state government and take up intense agitation.
In the six points memorandum the JAC draws the attention of the BJP government to change the system of keeping the result pending for years which has been going on in the state.
