Two drivers abducted

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 7, 2018: Two drivers have been reportedly abducted by suspected cadres of Kuki National Front (Nehlun) (KNF (N)) from between the road stretch of Chinikon to Dollang Part 2 in Bishnupur district.

They were abducted on December 4 at around 11 pm.

The abducted drivers have been identified as Gaiduanlung Gonmei, 27, son of Duanlin Gonmei of Oinamlong Village and Emmanuel Topro, 45, son of Ileestar Topro of Pegam Village of Khurti district, Jharkhand, presently residing at Awang Khul.

The two drivers were abducted about 35 kms North-West from Bishnupur Police station. The reason of the abduction is not yet known.

A case has been registered at Bishnupur District Police station and investigation has begun.
