Police rescue abducted drivers

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 8, 2018: Bishnupur Police has rescued two kidnapped JCB drivers engaged in road construction works. The two drivers were identified as Gaidonlung Gonmei, 27, son of Duanlin Golmei of Oinamlong village and Immanuel Topro, 45, son of  Ileestar Topro of Pesam Khuti village Jharkhand at present residing at Awangkhun.

The two drivers were rescued during a cordoned and search operation on Saturday at 1: 30 pm by a Bishnupur police teams at S. Nabir, Bunglon, Loilamkot, Dolang and Khoirok area.

They were abducted by unidentified armed miscreants from Khoirok road near Thongjaolok on December 4 at 11 pm.

They were handed to their family members.
