DDAM distributes aid materials

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 14, 2018: While the International Disabled Day is observed across the nation, Development Association Manipur (DDAM) has distributed aid materials to the differently abled persons, today.
Vocational Training Centre (VTC) for differently abled person, Manipur constructed by Salai Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and UNESCO Club, Manipur under Corporate Social Responsibilities Programme 2018 was also inaugurated and handed over to Sarjoo of Awang Khunou, Imphal West by DDAM advisor team.
DDAM general secretary, MD. Yunus Khan expressed that his main aim is to fulfill the needs for all the differently abled persons and to practice their rights which has been uncared by the state.
DDAM advisors Y. Kiran Singh, Dr. Th. Chandramani Singh and MD. Wahajuddin maintained that DDAM requirements is also our requirement and said they will extend all possible aid for the welfare of the differently able persons and works to be carry out in the near future.
During the occasion, a tricycle was presented to Ksh. Ajit who has been left un-walkable after an unfortunate incident. Blankets were also distributed to those differently abled persons who have not received any aid from the government.
DDAM have been distributing aid materials and extending their possible supports to the differently abled persons on the occasion of International Disabled Day observation in December every year.
