Myanmarese national arrested with Brown Sugar

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 20, 2019: A Myanmarese national was today arrested along with 143 packets of Brown sugar from near Sunrise Ground, Ward no. 4, Moreh, Tengnoupal district bordering Myanmar.
The drug weighing 1.817 kg would value around Rs 3.63 crores in International market.

The Myanmarese national was identified as Themneilam Haokip @ Neilam, 35, daughter of Ngamsei Haokip of Namphalong, Ward no. 12, Tamu district, Myanmar.

She was arrested by a combined team of Moreh Police including Woman Police constables led by sub-inspector N. Prabin Singh under the command of Kh. Robinsun, additional superintendent of police, Tengnoupal and under the overall supervision of Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh, superintendent of police, Tengnoupal and a team of 43 Assam Rifles.
A case has been registered at Moreh Police.
