Salai offers free education

Pothashang News Service : Imphal, March 15, 2019: Manipur’s Salai holding private limited has sponsored 24 students for free education today at Vocational Guide School, Sangaithel, Polangjing, Imphal West.

The students were given free sponsorship on education under the educational sponsoring programme heldtoday at the school.

The programme was organised under the theme ‘education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world- Nelson Mandela’.

Onne of the mothers of a student told reporters that she has departed with her husband recently in road accident. Since then she have been surviving with her daughter by struggling the grievances on financial issues. After she has departed with her husband, her daughter drop out from studies from the government primary school located near Sangaithel, she added.

In the government school due to lack of students and teachers no class were conducted so she let her daughter to drop out from studies. The government has been taking necessary steps to promote education by implementing various schemes but in the said government school no teachers are available, she added.

She felt she was pleased for the initiatives of Salai Holding private limited for sponsoring free education at Vocational Guide School. The initiatives of Salai has brought a turning point to the family and owe great debt of Salai, she added.

Secretary of Salai Holding Private Limited, Narengbam Dhanapati said the initiatives for sponsoring free education to orphan or financially critical family was taken under the instruction of chairman and managing director of Salai Holding Private Limited, Narengbam Samarjit.

Parents should pay attention the sponsored students though Salai provide free education for the welfare of the student. The motives of Salai is to provide sponsorship for free education but if parents failed to pay attention their children during studies the initiatives of Salai will get ruin, she added.

Dhanapati also said Salai has been sponsoring children under poverty line including orphan and will continue till a change has brought in the state.
