Stakeholder and Government Policies and Initiatives workshop

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, September 9, 2019: The Stakeholder and Government Policies and Initiatives workshop was held on Monday to provide an introduction of Technology Centre Systems Programme and to understand stakeholders’ needs, challenges and their expectations from technology centre and to prioritize the area of interventions and to formulate an action plan to work together for achieving the higher growth and competitiveness of MSME in Manipur and also to introduce the cluster members about the existing government schemes and encourage them to utilize relevant schemes.
It was organised by ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Commissionerate (MSME), at Imperial Hall, Classic Grande hotel, here.
Principal secretary (textile, commerce and industry) P. Vaiphei said he felt happy to be part of the workshop as it focused on almost all the aspect of different sectors. A workshop by its very nature will not meant, somebody giving a lecture and somebody listening, rather it will be an interaction session, as somebody will teach you and there you will asked your difficulties or you can come out with case relevant and raise your issues, he added.
Among others, Divesh Gautam, E&Y (PMU), KP Lal KPMG (TCM), SV Shukla principal director FFDC, Kannauj, Taliwati Longchar, director i/c MSME-DI Imphal were present.
