Mass joint rally organised at Chandel

Chandel, 16th September, 2019 (DIO/Cdl):Today District Administration Chandel organised a joint mass  rally in collaboration with PHED,SDO,CMO and Social Welfare Department, Chandel, which started at mini stadium near SDO office to the Mini Secretariat, DC office Chandel, in connection with Ayushman Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Poshan Maah,and Swatchhta Hi Seva  programmes which are being implemented in the district.

Today’s rally was flagged off by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Chandel

Loitongbam Leander Singh at the Mini stadium Chandel. The rally was participated by different DLOs, Social Workers, and officials of different departments and different Stakeholders of the District.

While receiving the participants of the  rally  Deputy commissioner Chandel, Krishna Kumar reiterated the objectives of all the schemes being taken up under different policies and programmes of the government , he opined that it is the duties of all the government employees and the educated  people to create awareness of all the schemes being taken up to all the far flung areas of the district. He further mentioned that a one stop centre for women where any women can come and will be provided with all amenities like food, shelter, legal, medical aids etc had also been opened at Chandel.  He further reiterated the need of the public co operation for the successful implementation of all these schemes.

Addressing the gathering Sub-Divisional Officer, Chandel, Loitongbam Leander Singh thank all the participants in taking part in today’s conversion programmes of the different schemes like , AYUSMAN BHARAT PAKHWARA, POSHAN MAAH, BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO and  SWACHHATA HI SEVA which are being  implemented under different departments. After Speaking of the different schemes he  also said that the main objective of today’s rally was to sensitize and to create awareness about all the different welfare schemes being implemented by the government.

After the rally CMO,Chandel, Dr.Serthani Sebum, SBP,Chandel Dearson Morong Tontang and EE, PHED,Chandel Seigoulen Lhundim also addressed the gathering explaining in details about the schemes being under taken by their respective departments. (DIPR)
