Biren inspects preparation for Japan PM visit

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, December 7, 2019: Manipur chief minister along with his Cabinet ministers inspected the preparations being made for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe at Maibam Lotpa Ching, also known as Red Hill at Bishnupur district on Saturday.

Modi and Shinzo is likely to visit Manipur on December 17.

During the visit, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will pay tribute to the Japanese soldiers who lost their lives during World War II in Manipur at Imphal Peace Memorial located at Maibam Lotpa Ching, Bishnupur district.

Chief secretary, additional chief secretaries, commissioners, deputy commissioners of Imphal West and Bishnupur district top civil and police officers accompanied the chief minister during the inspection.
