Manipur CM visits ailing scribe at hospital

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 19, 2020: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Wednesday visited All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) president Bijoy Kakchingtabam, who is being treated for an illness at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) hospital.

Biren enquired about the senior scribe’s condition to the attending doctors, RIMS director prof. A. Santa and medical superintendent prof. Ch. Arunkumar. He wished Bijoy a speedy recovery and a healthy life.

“As per the attending doctors Bijoy’s condition is stable now and recovering fast,” Biren said. He expressed hope that the ailing journalist would fully recover very soon.

Information and public relations minister Th. Biswajit also visited Bijoy on Tuesday evening.

Bijoy was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.
