Poppy destruction continues in Manipur

Pothashang News Service Imphal, February 19, 2020: In continuation of drive against poppy plantation in Manipur a combined team of state machineries destroyed about 47 acres of illegal poppy plantation at the Gomi hill range in Tengnoupal district on Wednesday.

The team comprised of Tengnoupal district police, NAB and 8 Manipur Rifles. It was led by superintendent of police, Tengnoupal Th. Vikramjit and superintendent of police (NAB) W. Basu Singh.
