Employment news: Vacant posts of project assistance at NESAC

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 2020: North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) invites candidates to Walk-In-Interview for the purely temporary posts of ‘project assistants’ from 8 NE states under a project titled ‘Geotagging of assets created under NERTPS Programme of Central Silk Board’ sponsored by ministry of textiles.

A total of 110 posts are vacant for project assistants; 26 posts in Assam, 12 in Arunachal Pradesh, 22 each in Manipur and Nagaland, 6 each in Meghalaya and Sikkim, 12 in Mizoram and four in Tripura.

The upper age limit for the candidate is 32 years. The salary is Rs 16,000 per month.

The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline or diploma in any engineering subject from a recognised university/institute obtaining a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. The candidates should have basic computer knowledge.

Candidates are required to directly come to the interview venues along with their Bio-data (as per prescribed format) and all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in the Bio-data along with a set of self-attested photocopies.

For Assam other than BTC region interview will be conducted at Assam Remote Sensing Application Centre Bigyan Bhawan, Near IDBI Building Guwahati 781 005 Assam on February 26 at 8:30 am and for Assam BTC region the interview will be conducted at tge office of the Director of Sericulture, BTC Bahalpur, Kokrajhar Road, Adabari, Kokrajhar 783376 Assam on February 11 at 9 am.

For Arunachal Pradesh the Interview will be conducted at State Remote Sensing Application Centre Science and Technology Building, ESS Sector Itanagar-791113, Arunachal Pradesh on February 24 at 9 am; for Manipur it will be conducted at Manipur Remote Sensing Applications Centre North Block, Annex Building, New Secretariat, fourth floor Imphal 795001 Manipur on February 24 at 8: 30 am; for Nagaland at Nagaland State Science and Technology Council (NASTEC) Science and Technology Complex, Below New Civil Secretariat Kohima 797001 Nagaland on March 3 at 8.30 am; for Meghalaya at North Eastern Space Applications Centre Umiam 793103 Meghalaya on March 9 at 9 am; for Mizoram at Mizoram Remote Sensing Application Centre Chaltlang 796012 Aizawl, Mizoram on March 2 at 9 am; for Tripura at Tripura Space Applications center Tripura state Council of Science and Technology Vigyan Bhawan, Pandit Nehru Complex P.O. Kunjaban, Agartala 799 006 Tripura on March 3 at 9.30 am; and for Sikkim the interview will be conducted at Sikkim State Council of Science and Technology Vigyan Bhawan, Deorali, Gangtok-737102 Sikkim.

An amount of Rs 250 will be given to the Project Assistant for successful completion of geotagging of one asset. This is to cover his travel cost to reach the locations of the assets. The assets will be verified in the dashboard system for certifying that these are successfully been completed. The decision of NESAC on this matter will be final.
