Hill Leader’s Day and Meeyamgi Numit postponed  indefinitely

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 15, 2020: Hill Leader’s Day and Meeyamgi Numit (People’s Day) has been indefinitely postponed  as a precautionary measure against outbreak of COVID – 19.

The  interaction session of Manipur chief minister N. Biden Singh and people is held every month at the chief Minister’s secretariat  to listen to the grievances of the people.

“It is hereby notified for information of the general public and all concerned, that the “Hill Leader’s Day” and “Meeyamgi Numit” which is held every month at the chief minister’s secretariat is postponed indefinitely until further notice as a precautionary measure against outbreak of COVID – 19,” said a press statement released by secretary to chief minister, Ningthoujam Geoffrey on Saturday.
