CS appeals for public support

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, March 21, 2020: As part of observance of the “Janata (Public) Curfew” announced by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on March, 22 from 7 a.m. to 9 pm, a one minute siren would be played at 5 pm from GM Hall, Imphal on the same day.

Chief secretary, J. Suresh Babu has ‘fervently’ appealed the general public of Imphal city in particular to get themselves ready two minutes ahead of 5 pm at the balcony and porch of their respective residences and clap loudly in appreciation and mark of gratitude to the doctors, nurses and paramedics who are rendering great services for prevention of pandemic caused by Corona virus in Manipur, said a DIPR release on Saturday.
