Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 4, 2020: A total of 546 violators were detained along with 473 vehicles in Manipur on Saturday as state police department continued to crack down violators of Lockdown.
The law violators were produced before the Magistrate and fines of Rs 53,900 was collected.
The police department appeals to the public to follow the advice and guidelines issued by the government and stay indoors for their own safety and safety of the public.
Those who came to purchase essential items are requested not to use vehicle and to maintain social distances. The police department will continue to enforced strictly the lockdown/ curfew in the days to come, ADGP L. Kailun said.
