Twin blasts injures one

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 22, 2019: One person was injured when two hand grenades simultaneously blasted today evening near Minuthong, Imphal. The grenades were blasted at around 7: 25 pm. One of them blasted inside the Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association (MMTA) campus near the gate. Gold biscuits seized

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 19, 2019: Officers of Anti-Smuggling Unit, Customs Division, Imphal today nabbed two residents of Uttar Pradesh along with six gold biscuits at Patsoi Bazar, Imphal West. They were identified as Nirbhay Kumar Upadhyay, 31 and Bachchalal, 59. Three gold biscuits each were concealed in their body cavity (rectum). They were travelling to Jiribam by a passenger Winger taxi. The gold biscuits would value Rs 31, 34, 412. Storm kills three women

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 15, 2019: Thunderstorm took away lives of three women while about 40 people including 30 students were injured this morning. Two of the women identified as Nemdom, 74, and Chenkholhai, 50 died at T Munjang village in Churachandpur when a house where they were sheltering collapsed.
