13 arrested, liquors seized

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, February 25, 2020: Imphal West district police arrested 13 persons during drives against alcohol  in different parts of the district on Monday. During the drives a total of 313. 43 litres of different types of liquors were seized. The seizure included 213.5 liquors of distilledcil indigenous liquor, 83.73 litres (in 59 full bottles, 64 half bottles and 86 quarter bottles) of Indian made foreign liquor, 16.2 litres (in 8 bottles and 22 cans) of beer. Manipur was declared a dry state in 1991.
