MNDF hopes high – Two Congress and one BJP candidates join MNDF

Manipur National Development front has high to be a part of the next government with expectations winning a countable seat in the forthcoming state assembly election.
Today three more contesters have joined the new regional party. Two of them were from Congress and the other was from the BJP. Those who left the Congress and joined the MNF today were Sagolsem Achouba from Wangoi constituency and Mutum Dinesh Singh from Langthabal constituency. Hingba Thomas was the one from BJP who is contesting in Tadubi constituency.
Mutum Dinesh said he has joined the MNF he was forbidden to contest on Congress ticket. “I want to prove the misconception of the Congress by winning from the MNDF ticket”, he added.
Sagolsem Achouba who was former vice chairman of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee and a member of AICC stated that he didn’t apply for the Congress ticket but he left the party thinking over the present chaos in the state. “I left Congress and choose this party who would work for the welfare of Manipur”, added Achouba.
Achouba joined the regional party along with his municipal corporates and members in the reception ceremony held at the MNDF office.
Hingba Thomas said he was a long sufferer as a BJP member but the ticket was offered to candidate who left Congress and recently joined BJP.
Working president of the regional party Bijoy Koijam welcoming the new comers said, “Our party will work for the satisfaction of the people and the party will not entertain more on criticising other parties. We will suggest our candidates to campaign with their promise to work for welfare and development of their constituency.”
Lien Gangte the party’s vice president said with the flowing in of winnable candidates has boost up its expectation of winning in the coming election.”
In the recent past the regional party has welcomed four intending candidates from BJP and two from Congress.
MNDF is included among the political parties who formed the Left and Democratic Front (LDF).
