Plea to locate missing Manipuri in Myanmar

Social activists and family members of Nongmaithem Ibomcha have urged the state government to take the help of the Ambassador of India to search for Ibomcha who remains untraceable since March 24.

N. Ibomcha has not returned back from Namfalong, a Myanmar province. He went to exchange currency notes on the same day. N. Ibomcha belongs to Heirok Part II Laishram Leikai. He earns his living trading fish which he procure from Mintha village of Mynamar

Talking to the reporters at Manipur Press Club in Imphal, L.Mandhir, a social activist said a complaint has been lodged a complaint to the Moreh police station and requested the immigration officer to help find Ibomcha. But still his where about is not known as he was missing in another country, “So we are appealing the government to take the help of Indian Ambassador to trace Ibomcha”, added Mandhir.
