RADHESHYAM DISSATIFIED AT CONDITION OF THE LABOUR

Labour and Employment Minister Shri Th. Radheshyam was dissatisfied on the condition of the State Labour Department at Deputy Commissioner Office, Lamphel when he went to inspect the department.

Radheshyam inspected State Labour Department and conducted a meeting with the concern officials, including the Commissioner of Labour, today.

Expressing dissatisfaction on the condition of the office the minister asked if the staff can’t treat their office as their own home. He enquired the officials about the possibility of shifting the said office at the ITI Complex, Takyelpat. He also vigil into the conditions of the construction works of his department undertaken in the DC complex.

The minister discussed with the officials on how to make better implementation of labour laws and several other schemes provided by the government for the upliftment of the labourer of both the organised and unorganised sector. The meeting also discussed matters related to labour, employment service, craftsman training, manpower planning & development, co-ordination of various projects for educated unemployed youths.
