Imphal West District Football Association will face DSA Bishnupur in the final of the 21st Sub-Junior Boys Inter District Football Tournament 2017 to played at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak on Thrusday.
In the first semi final, DSA Bishnupur beat DFA Thoubal by 6-3 goals during tie break after both team were locked with 2-2 goals in regulation hours. M.Jetlee struck both the goals fro DSA Bishnupur while M.Lenil and A.Staljit fetch the equaliser for Thoubal team.
In the subsequent penalty shoot out, M.Abinash, L.Ajendra, M.Jetlee and S.Malemnganba scored a goal each for Bishnupur while for DFA Thoubal, only A.Staljit manage to beat the Bishnupur keeper. Bishnupur player N.Abungton got a yellow card in the match.
As for the second semi final, Imphal West District FA make a mincement of DSA Chandel with Monex Ningthoujam and E. Santoshkumar scoring a hattrick each while N. Malemnganba, A. Robert and L. Nelson chip in with a goal each.
First Division: Thangmeiband Athletic Union beat Wangoi Football Association by 3-1 goals in the 24th L.Sangita Devi Memorial First Divisio Football League 2017 played at SKYC ground, Sekmai. Chingkheinganba came up with two goals in the 12 and 44 minute while Kangoilal Haolai fetch one goal in the 73 minute for Thangmeiband team. The lone goal for Wangoi was made by Thomas in the 7 minute.
Super Division: Youth Development Organisation beat Youth Welfare Club, Malom by 4-2 goals in the 18th S.Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division Football League 2017 played at SKYC ground, Sekmai. In another match, NC Club, Khonghampat hold Manipur Police Sports Club by 1-1 goals in yesterday match.
