MINISTER NEMCHA STRONGLY CONDEMNED THE KILLING OF STUDENTS’ LEADER

Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister Smt. Nemcha Kipgen strongly condemned the brutal killing of Letkholal Haokip alias Palal, President, Haokip Students’ Organisation (HSO).

The Minister personally met the family members of the deceased students’ leader today at RIMS morgue and expressed condolence on such inhuman act meted out to the leader, (L) Letkholal Haokip on that fateful night. She empathized the pain the family is presently going through with the loss of their dear one and expressed his demise as a great loss to the society.

It may be recalled that the incident happened on the night of 23^rd June at around 7 pm. Palal was shot to death from point blank range inside his vehicle in front of his residence at Langol Game Village, Imphal.
