SSC Porompat beat UPAA Kiyamgei by a solitary goal in the Maharaj Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division Football League 2017 played at ABA ground, Imphal East.
In a rain drenched outfield, the SSC team and UPAA Kiyamgei hard time but the former prevails in the end with Mocha Singh with sliding home the winning goal in the 25 minute to collect full point. This is UPAA Kiyamgei consequetive defeat in two appearance in the league.
In another match, UPSA Pukhao beat NIVSO by a solitary goal with Ch.James Singh fetching the all important goal in the 78 minute to collect full point.
Imphal West Super: Group Centre CRPF hold on Yaiskul Athletic Club by 2-2 goals to share a point each in the 24th L.Sangita Devi Memorial First Division Football League Tournament 2017 played at SKYC ground, Sekmai.
CRPF dictate terms in the first half play with Nungreipam L getting the leading goal in the 31 minute to rule the turf. However Yaiskul Athletic Club turned the table when Bhogen Sharma fetch the equaliser in the 57 minute to level 1-1 goals.
With the competition hots up, S.Iboyaima Singh push CRPF ahead when he netted home in the 62 minute but Yaiskul replied positively when Bhogen Sharma scored the equaliser in the 67 minute to level 2-2 goal till the final whistle.
In another match, Th.Ranjoy Singh hattrick goals guided SCK Kodompokpi to beat Western Sporting Club by 3-0 goals. Ranjoy Singh struck in the 19th, 34th, 49th minute for the resounding victory.
