DRIVE AGAINST LIQUOR AND DRUGS

As a part of drive against Illicit liquor and drugs in the run up to 5th General Panchayat Election 2017, a team of Khongjom Police station arrested Moirangthem Somen Singh(47) son of (L) M. Chandramani Singh of Tentha Marongban today at 4.30 a.m.

The police team seized 200 litres of DIC liquor from his possession at Samaram crossing. The arrested person along with seized articles will be handed over to Excise Department further necessary action, says police.
