Manipur State League

Imphal, September 8: Tiddim Road Athletic Union blanked Southern Sporting Union by 3-0 goals in 12th Manipur State League 2017 played at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak.

Southern Sporting Union seems toothless in theirs attack against a formidable opponent Tiddim Road Athletic Union throughout the match. Though Southern Sporting played hard, lack of conversion cost them dearly today.

Tiddim Road make theirs presence felt in the game quite early with Seiminmang open the goal account in the 11 minute of play for the lead and later he fetch his team second goal in the 37 minute to post 2-0 goals in the first half.

Tiddim Road should have taken the lead further more but Seiminmang wasted a penalty just in resumption of the second half. But Tiddim Road had the last laugh when theirs foreign recruit Kelvin Alcec Legbelle,who came in as a substitution, made an effortless easy tap to the goal in the 63 minute for the victory today. Tiddim Road player A.Herojit and Southern Sporting Union player Rosicky Khaidem and M.Rabindra were booked with a yellow card in the match.

In another match, YPHU Lallambung hold on FC Zalen by a goaless draw to split a point each. Zalen player Mangkholen Kipgen got a yellow card in the match.

In tomorrow matches, AIM Khabam will take on NACO Nambul Mapal in the first match while Sagolband United will clash with DM Roa, Sekmai.

Imphal West League

MTSU Malom thrashed MSC Malom by 2-0 goal in the 7th K.Karnajit Singh Memorial Second Division Football League 2017 played at Loitag Khunou, Imphal West. Vivekananda and Bijiu fetch the winning goals.

In another match, PAMYAL Patsoi beat KSC Lambulane by 2-0 goals margin with M.Sanathoi and T.Sekhar proving theirs worth in the match for the victory.

Imphal East League

FUC Uyumpok beat SAC Top by 2-1 goals in the N.Apabi Memorial Third Division Football League Tournament 2017 played at ABA Ground, Imphal East. Ch.Dhanabir and Adison struck a goal each for Uyumpok team in the first half while Geetchandra scored the lone goal for SAC in the first half as well.

In the Ng.Boboy Memorial Second Division Football League, CSC Chanung beat UDO Heingang by a solitary goal. N.Thoiba scored the winning goal for Chanung team in the second half.
