Kuki Student’ Organisaton, Moreh

Imphal, September 9:The Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) has cautioned to take up agitaions demanding removal of police commando from Moreh within 48 hourd alledging that they some of the commandos who were drunk threatend the KSO Moreh president and his associates while frisking while returning from hospital.

The students body in its statement strongly condemned the attitude of Manipur Police Commandoes posted at Mosaic on the fateful night of September  7, 2017. The president of KSO Moreh along with his executives were returning from Moreh Hospital after treatment of a child.

The commando personnel who were drunk while on duty waylaid them and frisked them. The student leader introduced himself. Without any reason, the drunk personnels threatened them by pointing his service weapon towards the president, said the statement.

Such unwanted and uncivilized behaviour is very much condemnable and needs immediate action. The Commandos had always been trying to create chaos at Moreh, added the statement.

It said the state government shall be held responsible for all the consequences of agitations.
