Imphal, September 12: Anouba Imagi Mangal, Khabam beat Dimapur Road Athletic Organisation, Sekmai by 2-1 goals in the 12th Manipur State League 2017 played at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak.
Anouba Imagi Mangal and Dimapur Road team had a sweat it out seeking for the all important goal that remain elusive till the 43 minute of play. However Anouba Imagi willy forward, snake through Dimapur Road defence to struck the opening goal in the 44 minute. Moments later, Anouba Imagi consolidates with theirs second goal with NG Bedeenpar Moyon netting home in the 45 plus one minute for the lead in the first half.
Not to outshines by its opponent, Dimapur Road team rattles up and got rewarded when H.Naoba Singh struck his team first goal in the 56 minute, which turn out to be theirs last as well of the day. Four Anouba Imagi player S.Dinesh, S.Thomas, N.Pritam, Henry Monsang Tesong and Dimapur Road player Ngaraipam, Shunjanthan Ragui were booked with a yellow card each.
In tomorrow matches, NACO Nambul Mapal will take on Neroca FC in the first match while Sagolband United will meet YPHU Lallambung at Artificial Turf.

CSC Sekta beat BSU Keirao by a solitary goal in the Ng.Boboy Memorial Second Division Football League 2017 played at ABA Ground. While for the N.Apabi Memorial Third Division Football League 2017 played at the same venue, SAIPO FC, Keibi blanked FUC Uyumpok by 2-0 goals.
