Imphal, September 12: Neroca FC registered theirs second victory beating Nambul Mapal Cultural Organisation by huge margin of 6-0 goals in the 12th Manipur State League 2017 played at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak.
The Hero I-League team Neroca FC have played three matches in the league, winning two and lost one games while Nambul Mapal Cultural Organisation have lost all theirs three matches.
Making amends of theirs last defeat, Neroca FC suprised its opponent Nambul Mapal team with an early goal from Felix Odili Chidi who struck the opening goal in the 1 minute of play. Dominating the game, Neroca FC increased the tally when S. Subash Singh booted home the second goal in the 27 minute to dictate terms in the match.
Keeping theirs cool, Neroca FC races ahead with Felix Odili Chidi getting his second goal in the 45 minute and later Y.Gopi consolidates with the fourth goal in the 45 plus 2 minute to post 4-0 goal lead. Facing little resistance from its opponent, Neroca FC push ahead further with S.Subash Singh fetching his second goal in the 68 minute and later Y.Gopi wraps up the match with his second goal in the 80 minute for the comfortable victory.
In the second match, Sagolband United come up with theirs third win beating YPHU Lallambung by 3-0 goals. Forward Ejiogu Chinedu Emmanuel makes the impact with the opening goal in the 5 minute and later consolidates with his second goal in the 40 minute for the lead in the first half.
Making a smooth run in the game, Sagolband United makes further inroads with Olariche Princewill Emeka driving down the last nails with his goal in the 69 minute cakewalk victory. YPHU Lallambung player Rk.Robin got a yellow card in the match.
In tomorrow matches, KLASA Keinou will clash with TRAU Kwakeithel while Muvanlai Athletics will meet SSU Singjamei in the second match.
Imphal East League:
MHGAU Hatta Golapati beat SSC Sekta by a solitary goal in the Ng.Boboy Memorial Second Division Football League 2017 played at ABA Ground. O.Shanta scored the winning goal in the 54 minute.
As for the N.Apabi Memorial Third Division Football League 2017 played earlier at the same ground, YVO Huikap beat TYWO Takhel by 4-0 goals to collect full points. K.Premkanta scored two goals while Md.Mustafa fetch one goal. TYWO player L.Langamba conceded an own goals.
Imphal West League:
SYPA Awang Sekmai beat YUC Irom Meijrao by a solitary goal in the 1st Sh.Mani Sharma Memorial Third Division Football League 2017 played at Loitang Khunou. In the second match, KSYC Hiyangthang blasted KYC Khurkhul North by 4-1 goals.
