Office shut down

Imphal, September 19: The Nungba Area Joint Action Committee, NA JAC claiming its success to the imposition of shut down strike of all government offices and schools, cautioned to take up another wave of intense agitation if the government fails to remove or transfer SD Neinu, CDPO/ICDS Project, Nungba immediately from Nungba Project.

The Nungba joint committee appealed the chief minister Nongthombam Biren Singh and the social welfare minister to immediately remove the said officer from Nungba since she failed to execute her official duties for almost a decade.

She failed to report to Nungba —her place of posting, she failed to bring and distribute all provisions to the children of Nungba Area under ICDS Project. She deprived the physical, mental and emotional growth, development and welfare of the innocent children for almost a decade, said a press statement by the NA JAC.

It also again appeal the concern health authorities — chief minister, health minister and other concern authorities to look into the matter of two doctors , Dr. Ng. Wilson Changlo and Dr. Khumanthem John who were transfered on September 13 and sent them to CHC Nungba at people’s interest, for the welfare and development of the people of Nungba Area.

We resolved to move on with another wave of intense agitation if the mentioned Doctors failed to report to Nungba by September 20 by imposing NH-37 total shut down. The Government and the concern officers will be held responsible for any untoward outcome, added the statement.
