Gambling dice confiscated

Imphal, September 20: Six sets of lagao dice were confiscated from Moreh town by a team of Moreh police, today.
Three of the dice sets were seized from Moreh Bazar, one from Prem Nagar and another two sets have been confiscated from Dhramasala, Moreh.
It has been part and parcel of town life in Moreh since long. The police action has been appreciated from different quarters.
A retired teacher who was posted at Moreh told Pothashang lagao gamblers were seen almost undisturbed during my service period. This action is good and they should be punished for gambling in the town and that too in open, added the retired teacher.
