Mega Traffic Lok Adalat at Palace gate spoils Swachhata Hi Seva

Imphal, September 23: While the state is observing ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ the fortnight long nationwide cleanliness campaign as part of the Gandhi Jayanti observation, the Mega Traffic Lok Adalat has spoiled the spirit of Swachh mission.

People who runs business centers around the palace gate found scattered wastage of food in front of the City Convention Complex in Imphal East where a part of the mega Traffic Lok Adalat was conducted. “There were legal people and officers during the conduct. Many were taking food after the Traffic Lok Adalat was over and they left all the wastage in front of the City convention, which is a focal centre”, said one of the shopkeepers who raised over it at Palace gate. They said, the white coloured people were dirting this part of Imphal city while the chief minister and his ministers sweep, giving awareness to keep the state clean.
