HAVE MORE COMPASSION IN THOUGHT AND NON-VIOLENCE IN ACTION: DALAI LAMA

Imphal, the 18thOctober, 2017(DIPR): We need to revive the spirit of love and compassion as human being is losing these qualities these days. Have more compassion in thought and non-violence in action, His Holiness Dalai Lama told today in a press conference held at Mini Auditorium, City Convention Centre Imphal.

His Holiness added that compassion is the ultimate source to bring inner peace and happiness. Individual has different techniques and ways to achieve inner peace. Compassion is an important one among the numerous ways of it. Violent method is completely wrong. It is against human nature. Start to change the world from each individual, then to family members, neighbours, communities, to the whole country and then to the world. Modern India has the potential to bridge the world through its ancient values. Thus, India can contribute alot to bring a peaceful and compassionate world.

Like European Union, northern-southern, eastern-western and central India can look for wider perspective and search for a common interest. Since India is a great democratic country, we all can criticise  to central policies. We can find out common interest and solutions for the problems being faced by all of us.
