Imphal evening closes today, cabinet sitting at Tamelong likely postpone

Imphal, October 22: The weather condition in Manipur has brought to the closure of Imphal Evening night plaza today and there is likely to postpone the state cabinet sitting at Tamenglong which was scheduled to hold tomorrow.

In an order issued by the joint director MAHUD, Ng. Uttam stated that the Imphal evening will not be closed for this Sunday due to unfavourable weather condition in Imphal. The night plaza was also disturbed yesterday by heavy rain.

The Imphal evening has been opened on every weekend.

On the other, there is likely to postpone the state cabinet sitting at Tamenglong due to the bad weather and incessant rain in the state, says a source

After Churachandpur, chief minister Nongthombam Biren Singh and his legislatures decided Tamenglong to host a cabinet meeting for the first time tomorrow. The cabinet meeting at Churachandpur was held in July.
