Imphal, November 3: Members of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Manipur today staged a sit-in in Thangmeiband, near state assembly complex in Imphal, protesting the allegedly brutal killing of nationalists by communist in Kerala.

For the past some months the communist party ruling in Kerala terrorised against ABVP by attacking its office, killing and torturing its members. We condemn it, said Saratchandra Haobijam, member of National Executive Council, ABVP.

“A hundred of ABVP, Manipur volunteers will join the mass protest rally to be held in Kerala on November 11 to get justice” said Saratchandra. The rally will be participated by more than one lakh members of the vidyarthi parishad.

National general secretary Vinay Bidre earlier in October stated that in last one year alone the state has seen killings of 14 “nationalist workers”.

The group claimed that in Kannur district alone five RSS activists have been murdered since Pinarayi Vijayan came to power in May last year.
