Imphal, November 8: Manipur leaders and people hats off to the fifth win in the Asian Boxing Championship by the five time world champion and Olympic medalist.
Chief minister Nongthombam Biren Singh and the information and public relations minister Thongam Biswajit Singh has congratulated star boxer and Member of Rajya Sabha Smt. Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte, better known as Mary Kom on her winning gold at the Asian Boxing Championship by defeating Korea’s Kim Hyang Mi in the summit clash on Wednesday at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Olympic bronze medalist Mary Kom emerged victorious in the 48-kg category clinching her fifth gold at the Asian Boxing Championship.
