Imphal, December 8, 2017 (DIPR): Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri L. Jayantakumar Singh today inaugurated the newly constructed Doctors’ Quarter of Community Health Centre, Saikul in Senapati District.
Speaking at the occasion as Chief Guest, Minister Jayantakumar said that in order to meet the required Doctors in many Health Centres in the State, the process to recruit 300 Doctors and 11 Dental Surgeons are underway. He further maintained that the new Quarter will be upgraded according to time and situation. He appealed the people of the place to co-operate with the Government while taking up necessary actions to expand the existing Community Health Centre.
The new Quarter is constructed under MSDP-12 Plan. The Function was attended by MLA Saikul Assembly Constituency, Puyamthong Haokip as Guest of Honour while Dr. K. Rajo Singh, Director of Health Services Manipur graced the Function as Functional President. Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi, T. Ranjit Singh, IAS also attended the function as special invitees.
The Inaugural Function was jointly organised by CSO Saikul and CHC Saikul.
