Imphal, November 13, 2017: Royal Photography Manipur has opened its third edition of Monthly Online Photography contest on December 5, 2017 the theme “Mother is Your Perspective” by beginning to receive photos from contestants.
Sageingakpa Ahongshangbam of Thangmeiband sponsors the prize of the winners in memory of his beloved grandfather Ahongshangbam Kunjabihari Meitei.
Competitors can submit their own clicked competition photos at ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHY MANIPUR group wall till December 25.
The contest is open for all and there will be no entry fee for the contest. All entry photos taken with mobile, Point and Shoot, Cyber Shots and DSLR cameras will be accepted.
The photograph must be an original work of the photographer.
The screening of the photos will be conducted during December 26 – 29 and the result will be declared on December 30.
One person can upload only one photograph. If a person uploads more than one photograph, only the first will be counted. Participants are required to submit photo with relevance to this theme.
All the photos need to have a Title or a Caption, with EXIF details (camera used, shutter speed, f-stop, filter used, processed in etc.). The photographers should mention date of photograph taken, location and hash tag. For mobile phone, model of the mobile phone is enough, no EXIF data needed. Competitors must upload photograph at with the required information along with the hash tag #rpm_mother.
Watermark is allowed so that the photographs are not misused. The watermark should not come in the way of the “view” or distracts the photograph. And there should be no border or frame.
Cropping and color correction is acceptable, but tampering or manipulation of the photograph will be rejected. All photographs should precisely relate to the subject matter / genres. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization will be directly disqualified without any consideration.
Photos can be in color or monochrome.
For this specific theme, the photograph can be a directed, creative, candid or staged shot.
