Imphal, January 24, 2018 (DIPR) : A total of 3,53,325 (three lakhs fifty three thousand three hundred twenty five) applicants including 2,41,832 ( two lakhs forty one thousand eight hundred thirty two) male and 1,11,493 (one lakh eleven thousand four hundred ninety three) female applicants are Live-Registered in the different Employment Exchange of Manipur at the end of November, 2017 according to monthly progress report on the working of State Employment Service, Manipur issued by the Directorate of Employment, Government of Manipur.
The total number of registered job seekers in Imphal West district is 41,226 including 24,770 Male and 16,456 female. Imphal East district has 26,879 (16,175 male and 10,704 female), Thoubal 25,088 (16,579 male and 8,509 female), Bishnupur 32,481 (23,631 male and 8,850 female), Churachandpur 82,504 (59,758 male and 22,746 female), Ukhrul 27,515 (19281 male and 8,234 female), Senapati 67,436 (48,112 male and 19,324 female), Tamenglong 27,772 (20,643 male and 7,129 female) and Chandel 12,006 (7,489 male and 4,517 female) respectively.
The number of those registered under Physical/Handicapped are 2,941 (1,974 male and 967 female) and under U.E. I & G. B are 7,477 (3,420 male and 4,057 female).
During the month 2,258 (two thousand two hundred fifty eight) applicants including 832 (eight hundred thirty two) female applicants got themselves registered with Employment Exchanges in Manipur as against 405 applicants of the previous month.
