Imphal, January 26, 2018 (DIPR): On the occasion of 69th Republic Day Celebration, the Governor of Manipur Dr. Najma Heptulla today hosted “At Home Programme” at the Raj Bhawan, Imphal. Dignitaries include Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Y. Joykumar Singh, Cabinet Ministers, Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Shri Y. Khemchand, former Chief Minister Shri Radhabinod Koijam, MLAs, Chief Secretary, DGP, top civil and police officials, prominent citizens and others were present during the function.
During the programme, the Governor of Manipur Dr. Najma Heptulla greeted the guests and exchanges pleasantries with them. All the invited guests were entertained with high tea.
Tomorrow, the Governor will be the Chief Guest at “Beating of the Retreat” to be held at 1st Bn. Manipur Rifles Parade Ground. The ‘Beating of the Retreat’ and Folk Dance Festival will begin at 1:30 p.m. which will conclude the Republic Day Celebration, 2018.
