Imphal, February 1, 2018: State police and NAB today seized drugs from a lady in Imphal East that would worth Rs. 3,42,825.
A combined team of Narcotic Cell, Imphal East, NAB-PS Manipur, CDO-IE along with women police while on patrolling duty at the Kairang Khomidok Area of Imphal East apprehended one Mayari, 55 wife of Md. Rocky of Kairang Khomidok Mamang Leikai, Imphal East district along with 1,117 numbers of World is Yours tablets, 1,163 numbers of loosen Spasmo Proxivon Capsules, 50 numbers of of Nitrosun-10 tablet strips containing 10 (ten) numbers of tablets in each strip and 5,00 numbers of tablet pieces in total.
The seized drug would worth Rs. 3, 42,825.
In continuation of the patrolling, another person namely, Md. Azimuddin @ Inao, 24 son of Md. Manab of Kairang Mayai Leikai was also apprehended along with heroine No.4 powder 1 (one) gram from his illegal possessions while patrolling in and around the area of Heigrumakhong Khongnung area.
The arrested persons along with the seized drugs were processed to hand over to Heingang police.
