Pothashang News Service, Imphal, February 10, 2018: Large quantity of drugs and Rs 3, 49,000 in cash were seized during a search operation at Kwakta Pangal Lamkhai ward no. 5 area by combined team of 42 Assam Rifles and Bishnupur district police commandos and women police conducted search operation at Kwakta Pangal Lamkhai.
During the search operation, the team recovered 130 Nitrosun strips containing 10 tablets each, 19, 200 numbers of Spasmo Proxybon tablets, with the cash along with one Samsung mobile handset and two Aircel sim sards were recovered from one women namely Faji Latun 38 wife of Abdul Zabar Qf Kwakta Pangal Lamkhai ward no 5.
On preliminary verification, she disclosed that she along with her husband namely Abdul Zabar have brought the items from one Abdul Satar of Lilong Mayai Leikai some few days back to sell at Churchandpur and Kwakta area.
A case has been registered at Moirang Police station for further investigation.
