Pothashang News Service : Imphal, February 24, 2018: All Manipur Unemployed Electrician Association, Manipur has urged the people not to engage electricians who do not register in the association as the risky task are being taken up by many untrained electricians.
Lakhsana Khuman, general secretary of the association said the electrical trade is risky and the electrician should be able to take responsibility of the job.
He was talking to the reporters at Manipur Press Club.
In other parts of the nation there are electrician boards and those who are not card holders or certificate holders of the board are not entertained by house owners or contractors as such electricians are regarded as non-professionals. In this regard the state government has so far not taken up any steps, said Lakhhana.
The association appealed all to promote work culture in the society so that the workers contribute effectively in the progress of the state.
