Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 20, 2018: “Better look into the state matter instead of dealing at national issues” said Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president TN Haokipp reacting chief minister N.Biren Singh and BJP Manipur president Ksh. Bhabananda to their remark urging Rahul Gandhi to apologise over the death of Justice Loya.
“Why should Congress leader Rahul Gandhi apologise to BJP”, said Haokip, “In order to save Amit Shah, our party president Rahul Gandhi will never apologise”.
Haokip was talking to reporters at Congress Bhawan, Imphal. Both Bhabananda and Biren crossed the state issue and takes up the national issue, said Haokip.
Bhabananda and Biren following the Modi style make false promises to the people in the state. The Biren Singh government has crossed14 months and we will not remain silent after the 15th month. BJP has promised that they will take up works that the Congress could not do in 15 years. But they inaugurated projects that were almost completed during the congress government. So, better they look into the state matter instead of dealing at the national level, said Haokip.
Let 2019 election comes, in the last parliamentary election the BJP got only 31 percent votes while 69 percent voted against the BJP. In the four years BJP rule problems comes up one after another. Women and children are no safer, so as the journalists, people in the judiciary, election commission members. Under BJP rule there is no democracy, said Haokip. Judiciary has been put under their control and perhaps for the first time in the history of India, 4 Supreme Court Judges came to media protesting against the chief justice Deepak Mishra, he added.
Today the banking system has collapsed after demonetisation and implementation of GST. They bluffed the poor people by asking to open zero balance bank account. But their money is looted once entered in their accounts as fines, added the Manipur PCC president.
