Bishnupur district conferred Prime Minister’s award

BISHNUPUR, April 21, 2018(DIPR):  On behalf of Bishnupur District, the Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav, IAS received the ‘Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration’ from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi today.

The district bags the award in the group ‘North East and Hill States’ for excellence in implementing “Promoting Digital Payments”. There were 999 applications received from organizations of Central/ State Government/ Districts out of which 138 applications were from Aspirational Districts for the different categories under the ‘Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration’.

The award was presented on Civil Services Day, 2018 function organized by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
