BJP accepts congress challenge, but on the House floor

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, April 28, 2018: BJP Manpur Pradesh, reacting to Manipur PCC spokesperson Kh. Joykishan’s challenge to debate with the works minister Th. Biswajit, said that the Assembly floor would be the most appropriate proper platform to debate.

MLA Joykishan made the challenge yesterday alleging the minister responsible for misappropriation of funds in renovation of MPSC building. Contractor, SN Pamei who is close to BJP-led government is involved in scams including the latest MPSC  renovation involving over Rs. 3 crores is kept defending by the government, said the Congress MLA.

BJP state unit, spokesperson, Ch. Bijoy on Saturday said if Joykishan cannot wait for the upcoming Assembly session, he can take up the matter to the court as he claims to have documental proof regarding the issue of renovation of MPSC building.

Joykishan  termed Th. Bishwajit, as ‘irresponsible’ citing his (Biswajit) response that there is no fund misappropriation at renovation of MPSC building.

Bijoy charged the Congress that they have embarked on a journey of spreading lies and it has even hired a foreign agency to spread misinformation, he added.

Unless the Congress culture is eradicated the politics the country cannot be purified, said Bijoy.
