JAC appeals to stop dividing among employees

Pothashang News Service: Imphal, June 4, 2018: Joint administrative council of AMTUC and AMGEO, has urged the state not to create divide and rule policy among the employees of the state.

JAC general secretary, Biken in a press conference said the on-going indefinite cease work strike has become the longest strike in the history on demand of central pay scale.

He said the council welcomes the invitation of chief minister to discuss the matter on a negotiation table. But as said the show cause notice issued to secretary general of the council must be cancelled and the warrant issued to all the concerned leader of the council must be withdrawn before talks, said Biken.

He also appealed the meeting should attend the chief secretary, other concerned government officials along with the chief minister. The council is ready to discuss the matter with the state but no other third party should be allowed to attend, said the secretary.
